GTV's idol drama "HOT SHOT" promoting with 3 big shots Jerry Yan, Show "Xiao Zhu [Little Pig]" Lo, and Chun Wu, is soon to air. Even before its TV broadcast, it has become a huge anticipation. But people who have seen the scene cuts all had the same feeling, that Show was "Outshining," overpowering both Jerry Yan and Chun Wu! In regards to this awkward question about the emphasis in roles, Jerry expressed that he was "guesting," so he doesn't care about the role emphases.

Show Lo Takes On Stephen Chow's Comical Style

In the drama, "Yuan Da Ying" Show Lo and "Dong Fang Xiang" Jerry Yan are teammates, so the have lots of scenes together, they're the main characters of the drama. It's been said that due to foreign invitation, Chun Wu had already expressed that he's just the supporting role early on. Now that the scene cuts are out, whether you're talking about the scenes or character role, Show Lo is obviously more emphasized. In the drama, besides acting comical, he also has to act cool, even a simple motion of throwing a basketball, he flies up to the basket in 'frog-style swim,' like Stephen Chow's silly style.

Jerry Plays Green Leaf, Love's Support

In contrast, Jerry's performance is a lot more quiet. Most of it is just a focus on his face with dialog, his handsome face is obviously the selling point. As for Jerry being the "big supporting role," his manager Ami said, "We were a supporting role to begin with! Jerry had said before, he filmed 'Hot Shot' to help out the producer, role emphasis shouldn't be compared. Acting with all your effort is more important."

Foreign Film Companies Dish Out Money For Jerry

The production expenses for filming "Hot Shot" had exceeded $60 million NTD, relying on only the Taiwan market is not enough to get that back. As of now, Mainland China, Southeastern Asia, Japan, and Hong Kong foreign rights has been sold already, and finally broke even; GTV's vice general manager Lai Cong Bi said that Jerry Yan is more popular overseas, so almost all the companies bought the rights for the film because of him.

The supporting role has become the most selling point, even though Jerry doesn't mind, but does it make sense logically? Lai Cong Bi explains, early on the roles had been said for Jerry and Show, one quiet, one active, respectively, he believes that both of them are lead roles. 打著言承旭（Jerry）、羅志祥（小豬）、吳尊三強同台的八大偶像劇《籃球火》即將上檔，戲沒上檔就令人期待，但看過初剪片花的人，不約而同都有一種感覺，就是羅志祥「一枝獨秀」，鋒芒搶過言承旭、吳尊！對於這種尷尬的戲分問題，言承旭表明自己是「義氣客串」，戲分多少不計較。

小豬擔綱 星爺風格搞笑

劇中，「元大鷹」羅志祥和「東方翔」言承旭同為戰友，對手戲最多，是全劇要角，吳尊則因海外邀約多，早就表明是配角性質。如今片花出爐，羅志祥不管在戲分或是角色發揮上，明顯吃重，劇中他除了搞笑外加耍帥，一個單純的投藍動作，他竟以蛙式游泳的方式飛身上籃，大走周星馳的無厘頭風格。

Jerry扮綠葉 情義相挺

　相較之下，Jerry的表現文靜許多，大部分是特寫加對話，賣點明顯在那張俊臉。對Jerry疑似流於「大配角」，他的經紀人Ami說：「我們本來就是配角！Jerry曾說，他拍《籃球火》是幫製作人的忙，戲分多少不用比較，有盡全力演到最好才重要。」

外埠片商 衝著Jerry掏錢

　《籃球火》的製作費高達6000多萬台幣，光靠台灣市場無法回收，目前，大陸、東南亞、日本和香港的海外版權均已賣出，好不容易打平成本；八大副總賴聰筆不諱言，言承旭在海外知名度較高，片商幾乎都是衝著他買片。

　配角成了賣片重點，雖然Jerry不在意，但是否合邏輯？賴聰筆解釋，最初的角色設定就是言承旭和羅志祥一文一武，他認為兩人都是男主角。而近來傳出該劇因動畫製作不及，將延至10月上檔，昨天，賴聰筆駁斥：「《籃球火》依照原訂計畫暑假上檔。」
