Having just released his first album with EMI, “Wu Suo Bu Zai – Show Your Dance,” Show “Xiao Zhu” Lo’s schedule is packed and he’s everywhere! Concerts, autograph sessions, filming new music videos etc., non-stop work. The major work-a-holic Show Lo put in tons of effort in earning applause for his new album. With an omnipresent attitude! And omnipresent super popularity! Asia’s New Dance King Show Lo has worn out pairs of dance shoes, completed countless numbers of impossible tasks, and finally successfully stepped onto center stage as the “most outstanding one” in everyone’s eyes.
On December 19, Show Lo came to Shanghai to promote his new album. Because Christmas is just around the corner, his company especially invited the media and his fans to the venue, to celebrate an early Christmas with the no-time-to-relax-work-a-holic Show Lo! To make this Christmas party different from others, fun and exciting, the record company spent a large amount of money and reserved River Huang Pu’s largest, most luxurious cruise ship. A “Party on the Waters” decked out with a Christmassy atmosphere!
The event began with the light, chiming melody of “Jingle Bells,” and in the midst of the holiday air, the handsomely suited Show had his face lit up with joy and greeted the media and fans that were there. What he learned was a new heavy rhythmic beat dance, “Iron-blooded Stomping.” Even though his dance skills were superb already, to execute this new dance, he still had to face some complications, “while I was dancing this, I had to wear these 10 kg iron plated stomp shoes. I heard from a dance instructor that it would burn up to 250 calories. Because this music video took 24 hours to film, I probably did this dance about 50 times from beginning to end. After calculations, Oh my god! I burned about 10,000 calories!!” But the comedic Show also expressed that even though the process of filming that music video made his legs go numb, he had wanted to lose weight anyway, so it was a win-win situation!
The Christmas party on the waters also had a special lineup, besides the fact that the company had spent lots of money for the cruise ship, also on the River Huang Pu was another smaller cruise ship with a massive LED billboard, adding up to $1 Million for both!
