Recently, Show "Xiao Zhu" Lo had to balance 3 jobs, hosting, acting, singing. He said it’s like “burning the candle from 3 ends.” Besides filming “Hot Shot,” he recently flew to Singapore for his album promotion, and afterwards will be going to Wu Xi to have a concert.
Due to his overworking, Show relies on Chinese acupressure to ease his body’s aches. Many times, his body ached so much that his body was stiff, and even his right arm had signs of periosteum inflammation (inflammation of the tissue that covers the bone). The doctor warned him that if he doesn’t carefully treat it, he won’t be able to sign autographs for his fans for long periods of time!
Getting Massaged, Screaming in Pain
His album ”Wu Suo Bu Zai – Show Your Dance” is still on its promotion period, but Show has to also act, and host at the same time, Show expressed that his body isn't handling it well. A few days ago, after filming, he went to get a Chinese acupressure treatment. The doctor said that his body’s muscles are very strained, mostly because he’s under too much pressure, without a way to relax, and warned him to be careful.
While getting the acupressure, Show screamed out loud a few times because it hurt, but he could only force himself to bear it.
Yesterday, Show flew over to Singapore for his album promotions. Then, afterwards, he will be flying to Wu Xi for a performance, and right afterwards he will go to Shanghai for an elaborate album press conference. The luck for his work is flourishing, but his body is having a hard time adjusting to it all.
Doctor Warns Him To Be Cautious and Get Treated
A while back, Show’s old injury of his right hand had resurfaced. Earlier for his concert rehearsals, he was injured, but never found the time to treat it, and his recent work load was increased, so his injury came back even worse. The doctor helped him bind his hand, and even warned him not to overlook the injury and rest more, or else in the future, signing autographs for hours will be like an unreachable dream.
During the filming of “Hot Shot,” besides being hanged by wires which made his underarms swollen red, the director was demonstrating a certain scene and accidentally hit Show in the back of his head with a stick, how calamitous!
For his overseas promotions, he can’t forget his dancing and singing. Before heading out of the country, he had the doctor give him an acupressure treatment, hoping to adjust his muscles, bones and tendon, so to help him relax more. This is to avoid body failure even before getting the chance to “snatch money.”
